Mercedes-Benz 540 K Special Roadster (1938)
Mercedes-Benz 540 K Special Roadster (1938)
Engine displacement of 5.4 liters, topspeed 170km/h, rear wheel drive. Would you buy? We would, but we can't afford it with only a few units left that range around 10 million EUR each.
Introduced in 1936 at Paris Motor Show the Mercedes-Benz 540 K became a culmination of the development of prestigious cars by Mercedes-Benz before the Second World War. At that time a symbol of modernism, the car conquered the hearts of many during its distinguished history: from Jack Warner to modern collectors ready to pay millions to own a Mercedes-Benz 540K.
Mondlicht team was inspired by the heritage of the car, its elegance and achievements. As beautiful as it was almost a century ago, the car stands out in every environment. We've chosen a vibrant red colour to emphasize its intransigent beauty. The car was created in 3ds Max and V-Ray. Post-production was done in Adobe Photoshop. Special thanks to Onur Dursun for beautiful backplates.
