Mondlicht Studios was happy to join forces with Rhubarb Agency to create a teaser for Phat Tuesdays - American television documentary series about the 1990s comedy showcase hosted and created by Guy Torry.
World Famous Comedians
The series tells the story of Phat Tuesdays at The Comedy Store in Los Angeles. The event was founded and hosted by comedian Guy Torry from 1995 to 2005, to spotlight Black performers, and helped launch the careers of comedians including Steve Harvey, Chris Rock, and Martin Lawrence.
It includes interviews with comedians and celebrities who were there, and previously unreleased footage of comedy sets. All three episodes are directed by Reginald Hudlin. The show premiered on Amazon Prime Video on February 4, 2022. showcased their talents.

This is How We Do It
Our task was to create the poster and animate it for the teaser. First of all, we modeled the environment putting the neon logo on the building under construction. Then we focused on visualization and after – animated the scene.
We were very inspired to become a part of this show and support it creating the promo content. And, of course, we had a great pleasure watching the episodes on Amazon Prime. If you haven't watched the show, you should totally check it out!
