Mondlicht Studios is delighted to have had the opportunity to craft an animation and key visuals to highlight the collaboration between Rimac and IONITY. This partnership is founded on a mutual dedication to advancing the frontiers of electric mobility. The project marks a significant undertaking by both companies pushing the synergy between Rimac's pioneering electric vehicles and IONITY's expansive charging infrastructure. Mondlicht Studios was tasked with encapsulating this spirit of innovation that drives both companies forward.

In October 2023, Rimac and IONITY embarked on a 6-day journey across Europe, a venture that served as the cornerstone for the project. This road trip, spanning several iconic European locations, was not only a testament to the Nevera's exceptional grand touring capabilities but also showcased the reach and efficiency of IONITY's high-power charging network. Our task was to create a beautiful full cg teaser and a keyvisual which celebrates the start of the collaboration.

The production process harnessed the capabilities of Cinema 4D and Redshift, laying the groundwork for the animation's storyline and visual foundation. Mondlicht Studios' creative approach involved constructing a dynamic narrative, utilizing these powerful tools to set the foundation for the video. Subsequent enhancements were made using Houdini, adding effects that injected dynamics and vibrancy.

Central to the video's appeal are the captivating studio shots of the Rimac Nevera and the IONITY charging station, created from striking and more unconventional angles. These shots, combined with the abstract effects created in Houdini, communicate the concept of electric power in a visually stunning manner. The choice of perspectives and the integration of abstract elements work in concert to underscore the innovative spirit of Rimac and IONITY's partnership, while also highlighting the aesthetic and technological excellence of the Nevera and the charging solutions provided by IONITY.
